About me:
I grew up in Half Moon Bay and have lived in Los Gatos for the past two years. Since I was 16 I’ve been working in gyms. I have always been fascinated with the plasticity of the human body. As an overweight teenager I found exercise to be the escape from the body I was in. I played hockey from the time I was ten years old and continue to play today.

Nick StockmanTraining Philosophy:
When it comes to fitness, no goal is unreachable. The reason I chose to be a trainer is to share in the pride and sense of accomplishment my clients experience when they reach their goals. With motivation, accountability, structure, and knowledge anything is possible.

Area of specialization:
I have extensive experience with clients with a myriad of limitations. I have a lot of passion for working with those with special needs. Working with people with limitations ranging from mental and physical impairments to stroke victims to those suffering paralysis has continually inspired me to learn and excel in the fitness industry. For those struggling to lose weight, the idea of changing the diet and lifestyle can be overwhelming. I find a lot of pleasure in helping my clients achieve the body and mindset they’ve been dreaming of.

"My training sessions with Nick are AWESOME, and I am really enjoying the challenge of working towards a personal goal in a new way. Getting stronger, and can see the changes in my physical appearance as well---all is great. We work well together and have a pretty darn good time while at it--he let's me "whine" which is good because although I have to get up at 415 to meet Nick by 515--after a long day with 6 and 7 year olds in my classroom can be draining. And Nick keeps my sessions BUSY and HARD (at times); therefore, my pass to whine. I've also made gym friends with some people who are regulars as well! All is grand.
